Still Valley Lake

Still Valley Lake is a private 32 acres lake nestled in 155 acres in Carroll County, Ohio. We are close to Canton, Minerva, Malvern, Carrollton and FliteTest, and only a 35 minute drive from the Pro Football Hall of Fame! We invite you escape, relax and enjoy amazing fishing (with your equipment, catch and release only), spectacular views, swimming, and a canoe, kayak and paddle boat on the lake. Keep your eyes open for heron, hawks, wild turkeys, bald eagles, turtles, geese, ducks and deer. Pontoon boat, water skiing, tubing available in season (fee). Live nearby? Invite up to 6 guests for the day on 3+ night stays or with pontoon boat or ski boat rental.

Choose between 2 different B&B's, the Loft and the Cottage, each with lake access.

The pontoon boat is shared between properties and is first come, first served. Please consider a 3+ night stay to guarantee extra guests during your stay.

The lake is lowered November until spring (weather dependent). No pontoon, ski or paddle boat is available during that time period. Lake access is limited. No outside gas-powered boats or wake boats permitted. 4WD or AWD necessary if snow or ice is present.

Still Valley Lake Loft : A modern loft in the country

Still Valley Lake Loft is a lakefront rental and bed & breakfast located directly across the drive from a private beach with a dock and firepit. Guests have use of complimentary canoe, kayaks and paddle boat.

Still Valley Lake Cottage: a relaxing get-a-way by the water

Still Valley Lake Cottage is a bed and breakfast that sits on the hillside close to the water, with a covered porch and beautiful sunset views. It is a very short walk to a dedicated area on a shared beach, with guests having their own dock, canoe, kayaks, paddle boat and firepit.

The Loft is a clean, bright modern space

Enjoy our modern space while relaxing on the lake! Private with 2 bedrooms (1 king bed, 2 twin beds) for 4 people, with futons for 2 more children or small adults. Central air with ceiling fans or a tower fan in each room. 3 smart TV's plus Wi-Fi to use with your personal subscriptions. Bathroom with dual sinks and spa-shower. Full size washer/dryer. Full kitchen with dishwasher, range, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig-type and standard coffee maker and more. Charcoal grill (please bring your own charcoal). No smoking.

Lake access at the Loft

Complimentary canoe, kayaks, paddle boat, firepit and camping chairs for all guests. We provide life jackets and water noodles for your use. Bring your own fishing equipment and wood! The private beach and dock are directly across the drive, under 50 feet from your door.

The Cottage is a cozy, rustic space with lake views from every window

Enjoy spectacular lake views while enjoying lake life! Private with 2 bedrooms (4 twin beds, easily movable) for 4 people. There are 2 smart TVs plus WIFI to use with your personal subscriptions. Wood burner for use with temperatures below 50 degrees F (bring your own wood). Central air plus ceiling fans in every room. Bathroom with walk-in shower. Full size washer/dryer. Compact kitchen with smaller refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, combination convection/microwave oven, toaster oven and coffee maker, plus dishes, flatware, etc. Large charcoal grill (please bring your own charcoal). No smoking.

Lake access at the Cottage

Complimentary canoe, kayak, and paddle boat for all guests. We provide life jackets and camping chairs for your use. Bring your own fishing equipment and wood for the firepit! This dedicated area is on a shared beach a very short walk from the Cottage.

All direct bookings will be sent a rental agreement.
2 night minimum booking. 3 night minimum bookings at the Loft June and July .
Payments accepted include cash, check, PayPal (svrlakehouse@gmail.com), or credit card payment. A 3.5% fee will be added to all PayPal payments made for "goods and services" and credit cards.
Tenant(s) are required to submit a copy of a valid Driver's License or other legal identification along with the completed and signed rental agreement.
A $300 security deposit is required for all bookings.
Bookings will be held for 5 business days for reservations made more 4 or more weeks in advance.
Bookings will be held for 48 hours for reservations made between 2 weeks and 4 weeks in advance.
Bookings will be held for a maximum of 24 hours for reservations made less than 2 weeks in advance.
Reservations are not final until the completed and signed Rental Agreement is returned, along with the required rent and copy of the Tenant's Driver's License or other legal identification and may be canceled without notice. Reservations that are not paid in full will be considered to be cancelled by the Tenant.
In the event of cancellation of the reservation by the Landlord, any rent and security deposits already paid by the Tenant shall be fully refunded.
In the event of a cancellation by the Tenant, the initial payment for the reservation, minus any PayPal fees, is fully refundable until 2 weeks before that start of the Rental Period. A 50% refund of the total cost, minus any PayPal fees, is available between 2 weeks and 1 week prior to the start of the rental. After that, no refunds will be issued.

2 week plus stays often available December thru March, regardless of the availablity calendar.

Remember that longer stays include the option to invite extra guests during the day!

Bookings are first-come, first served. If we have inquiries from multiple guests for the same days, whoever books first will get the reservation. Airbnb guests have the ability to do instant bookings. Call, text or email to confirm availability.

Additional information

No smoking in the Loft, Cottage or on the property near the propane tanks. No cigarette butts are to be left on the grounds.
The Loft is a second story unit and is not handicapped accessible or suitable for small children or pets.
The Cottage is a single story unit but is not handicapped accessible.
NO PETS. Any pets brought to the property will be assessed a $75 per night per animal fee.
Service animals are always permitted. We ask that they be disclosed in advance. Please specify if the assistance animal is required due to a disability and what work or task the animal has been trained to perform. Emotional support animals must provide an ESA letter.
Laundry detergent and fabric softener are not provided.
Wi-Fi and Internet service is slow and often inconsistent. Verizon works well here!

Pontoon boat is a available for rent on a first come, first served basis. Cost is $90 for half a day or $150 for a full day, including fuel Memorial Day thru Labor Day. $120 full day or $75 half day other dates.
Tournament Malibu Response ski boat with driver and basic equipment is available by appointment. Learn basic skiing or go tubing! $150 for the first hour, $60 for each additional half hour.
Lake is lowered in November, so powered boats will not be available and lake access is limited.
All boat rentals to be arranged at check-in. Cash, check, credit card, or PayPal accepted.
